뚝배기 ddukbaegi is one of the korean restaurants listed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The business is registered at 6783 N 5th St, Philadelphia, PA 19126; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–10 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

A tale of two dishes… We visited on the evening of June 27th for dinner, and it was a very polarizing experience. On the one hand, the dak bokkeum tang was one of the best dishes I've had. But unfortunately, the bossam was one of the worst. I'm wondering if there was something wrong on this day because I saw many past positive reviews on the bossam on Google reviews, even from reviews written in Korean. However, what we were served was very non-traditional, and the flavor/smell was so unfamiliar and intense we were not able to eat more than a few bites. We hate wasting food, but we couldn't stomach taking any of this dish home with us. We did see one past review from Sunjin Park which seems to match our experience. Even the standard accompaniments that come with the bossam—the saeu-jeot, ssamjang, and salad—all were “off” in some unpleasant way. The other dishes - seolleongtang, gamjatang, pajeon, and mandu, were all fine. And as mentioned, the dak bokkeum tang was amazing with very tender chicken and delicious broth. But wasting all that bossam due to the unusual preparation just left a figurative and literal bad taste in our mouths. It really overshadowed what could have been

We ordered the seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and the ssambap spicy pork set, and every single dish was amazing. The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor, while the tteokbokki had just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The ssambap spicy pork set was the highlight — the meat was tender, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with fresh wraps and side dishes. Out of all the Korean food I’ve tried in Philadelphia, this place definitely stands out. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back again. 쌈밥에 나오는 강된장이 너무 맛있어서 밥도둑이 따로 없네요 제육볶음에 불향도 가득하고 너무 만족스러운 식사였어요 👍🏻👍🏻

By far the Best Korean food in Philly. Seafood pancake was fantastic, spicy pork belly with Saam was really flavorful. We also got rice cake soup that was cozy and tasty and Kimchi bibimbap that’s amazing. Most of the food is quite spicy (in a good way). Also it’s getting busy now so some stuff might run out then it’s late

Excellent menu with really legit and authentic items. Across our crew of six we ordered a ton, and everything was fresh and well executed. Broths were really nice. Waitstaff very attentive and warm. Major kudos for the generous amount of meat they put in the soups! That really stood out as a unique aspect of each meal.
